This role requires the skills of a Business Analyst combined with those of a
Project Manager and is the ideal role for a versatile person looking for
variety in their work and the chance to use all of their skills and
knowledge.
THE OPPORTUNITY is to work with Delivery Consultants within
this global HR outsourcing company to deliver client’s new or changed HR
systems and processes on time, to specification and within budget, meeting
the clients’ objectives in the process. Depending on the project, you will
take on either a Project Manager role or a Business Analyst role within the
project team.
THE PERSON who will be appointed to this role will need to
have gained both Business Analysis experience (min. 2 years) and Project
Management experience (min. 2 years). The Business Analysis skills required
are : high level requirement elicitation; identification of non-standard
requirements and progression of these through the change control process;
client/developer liaison; production of requirement and solutions design
specifications and sign off; process analysis; management of user acceptance
testing; coaching and training new users for implementation; risk analysis;
quality assurance. The Project Management skills required are: team
management and motivation; managing multiple projects, some large; budget
monitoring and management; reporting to project board and client; project
planning, monitoring and ensuring delivery of required outcome; time and
resource estimation.
In addition to the above you should have some experience of working in a
client facing role on projects implementing process, organisation and
technology change and Business Process Reengineering. Some knowledge of HR
specialist areas such as Flexi benefits, pensions, benefits, managed payroll
services or HR consultancy is also key, ideally including experience of
working with a well known HR system such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle HR,
Siebel CRM, Deploy, Sum Total, Success Factors, Cyborg. You will have
excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to
facilitate, you will also be team orientated and be able to synthesise
information and formulate recommendations.
THE BENEFITS A flexi-package is offered from £40k to £45k,

HR DELIVERY BUSINESS ANALYST required by Global HR
Outsourcing company based in Hemel Hempstead.
The Opportunity is to join a global client team ensuring
accurate and timely delivery of HR administration across the globe. The job
involves the analysis and definition of client specific requirements by
gathering information on their current HRIS policies and procedures,
documenting them, defining requirements and process flow and contributing to
the system configuration and integration testing. Responsible for developing
system testing specifications, creating the test plan, test cases
(conditions and data), running system testing and documenting outcomes.
A key aspect of the role is interacting with the client and third parties to
monitor and improve the ongoing quality of processing, modifying the service
and troubleshooting as the need arises. Also heavily involved in the initial
team training during implementation.
The Person must have a functional and technical knowledge
of PeopleSoft HRMS and 1-2 years Business Analysis experience within the
field of Human Resources, to include requirements gathering and analysis,
writing functional specifications, delivering and supporting solutions for
external clients across the full project life cycle.
Previous system testing, process mapping and integration testing experience
is useful but not essential, as is some experience of delivering training or
coaching. Knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, HTML and Lotus Notes is also useful.
Most importantly, you will be able to show that you are responsive to the
client’s needs, strong on project planning and execution whilst still being
adaptable, flexible and continuously seeking to improve the service
provided.
The Benefits. A salary of £22k-£35k depending on experience

YOU
are a trained and
experienced Business Analyst with excellent interpersonal, written and
presentational skills. An ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis is advantageous
but not essential. IT technical experience is not required but an
appreciation of the principles and concepts of IT is. Knowledge of at least
2 of the following is required: flexible benefits; pension or benefit
industry; managed payroll services; HR consultancy. Alternatively, you will
have experience of delivering process and technology change in an
outsourcing environment or service industry. Experience of RUP and an
understanding of the responsibilities and role of Project Manager will also
be useful. THEY
are a major multi-national company experiencing rapid growth and change
through acquisitions and an ever-expanding client base. They have a large
number of current projects and their expansion plans mean many more are
required. These projects will lead to solutions being implemented within
their organisation and at their client sites as well.
THE OPPORTUNITY: you will
be responsible for the full analysis of internal and external client
requirements from the very start through to implementation. You will define
the objectives, scope and requirements (functional and non-functional) and
produce process and data models. Once the analysis is complete you will stay
with the project to see that the requirements are carried through to the
implemented solution. THE
