This 3 day course covers the syllabus and exam for the BCS Foundation Certificate in IS Project Management.
The IS Project Management Foundation Certificate provides an understanding of the principles of project management, including those that relate to project planning, monitoring and control, change control and configuration management, effort estimation, quality and risk management and communication between project stakeholders.
Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis - Intended Audience
This certificate is appropriate for anyone involved in or affected by IT projects.
Part of the BCS Diploma in Business Analysis
The Foundation Certificate in IS Project Management is one of the knowledge-based specialism modules for those wanting to achieve their BCS Diploma in Business Analysis. To obtain the full Diploma candidates must also obtain compulsory modules of Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis Practice (formally Essentials), and a Practitioner specialism module of Modelling Business Processes or Systems Development Essentials. Candidates must also take a one hour oral exam directly with the BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT following successful completion of the four modular certificates.

Course Information
The duration of this course is three days. Courses run daily from 9.00 am until 5.30 pm. During the last 1 hour of the course candidates sit their BCS exam, the exam fee is included in the costs shown above. The format for the examination is a one hour multiple-choice examination consisting of 40 questions. The examination is closed book (no materials can be taken into the examination room). Candidates need to achieve a minimum of 26 marks out of 40 to pass the examination.
The course is non-residential, however we can provide a list of recommended hotels close to the venue for those wanting to arrange accommodation. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are available during the course, however delegates should make their own lunch arrangements.
